DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Depression 10W

was located near Latitude 20.1 degrees North and Longitude

131.3 degrees East. 10W is moving north-northwest at 22 mph. It

is expected to make a slight turn toward the northwest with a

decrease in forward speed through Thursday as it heads toward the 

Ryukyu Islands.



Maximum sustained winds remain at 30 mph. 10W is forecast to

intensify through Thursday, possibly becoming a Tropical Storm by

this evening.
