SITUATION At 1200 UTC Severe Tropical Cyclone Sean was centred within 15 nautical miles of latitude twenty two decimal five south (22.5S) longitude one hundred and ten decimal eight east (110.8E) Recent movement : southwest at 11 knots Maximum winds : 95 knots Central pressure: 945 hPa AREA AFFECTED Within 220 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 150 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 150 nautical miles in SW quadrant and within 120 nautical miles in NW quadrant. FORECAST Maximum winds to 95 knots near the centre easing to 60 knots by 1200 UTC 21 January. Winds above 64 knots within 35 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 45 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 35 nautical miles in SW quadrant and within 25 nautical miles in NW quadrant with very high seas.
