SITUATION At 0600 UTC Tropical Cyclone Taliah was centred within 10 nautical miles of latitude fourteen decimal five south (14.5S) longitude one hundred and sixteen decimal two east (116.2E) Recent movement : west at 11 knots Maximum winds : 40 knots Central pressure: 991 hPa AREA AFFECTED Within 110 nautical miles of the centre. FORECAST Maximum winds to 40 knots near the centre increasing to 75 knots by 0600 UTC 03 February. Winds above 64 knots within 25 nautical miles of centre with high seas. Winds above 48 knots within 40 nautical miles of centre from 1800 UTC 03 February with high seas and heavy swell. Winds above 34 knots within 100 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 100 nautical miles in SE quadrant from 1200 UTC 02 February and within 110 nautical miles in SW quadrant and within 110 nautical miles in NW quadrant with very rough seas and moderate swell.
