SITUATION At 0600 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 10 nautical miles of latitude thirteen decimal two south (13.2S) longitude ninety five decimal zero east (95.0E) Recent movement : south southeast at 3 knots Maximum winds : 40 knots Central pressure: 995 hPa AREA AFFECTED Within 70 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 90 nautical miles in NW quadrant. FORECAST Maximum winds to 40 knots near the centre easing to 30 knots by 0600 UTC 21 March. Winds above 34 knots within 70 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 90 nautical miles in NW quadrant with rough seas and moderate swell. Forecast positions At 1800 UTC 20 March: Within 30 nautical miles of 13.8 south 96.4 east Central pressure 998 hPa. Winds to 35 knots near centre.
