SITUATION At 0900 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 30 nautical miles of latitude thirteen decimal zero south (13.0S) longitude one hundred and twenty four decimal two east (124.2E) Recent movement : west southwest at 10 knots Maximum winds : 30 knots Central pressure: 1002 hPa The low not expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours, however may develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 to 48 hours. AREA AFFECTED FORECAST REMARKS Although we don't expect gales within the next 24 hours we still appreciate any weather reports. Regular weather observing ships use normal channels.
