SITUATION At 0000 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 30 nautical miles of latitude thirteen decimal four south (13.4S) longitude one hundred and twenty two decimal nine east (122.9E) Recent movement : west southwest at 5 knots Maximum winds : 30 knots Central pressure: 1002 hPa The low not expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours, however may develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 to 48 hours. AREA AFFECTED Within 50 nautical miles of the centre in southern quadrants. FORECAST Maximum winds to 30 knots near the centre increasing to 35 knots by 0000 UTC 15 April. By 0000 UTC 15 April winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in SW quadrant with rough seas and moderate swell. REMARKS Although we don't expect gales within the next 24 hours we still appreciate any weather reports. Regular weather observing ships use normal channels.
