SITUATION At 1800 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 25 nautical miles of latitude thirteen decimal eight south (13.8S) longitude one hundred and twenty two decimal eight east (122.8E) Recent movement : slow moving Maximum winds : 30 knots Central pressure: 1003 hPa The low is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours. AREA AFFECTED Within 50 nautical miles of the centre. FORECAST Maximum winds to 30 knots near the centre increasing to 45 knots by 1800 UTC 15 April. From 0000 UTC 15 April winds above 34 knots within 40 nautical miles of centre in southern quadrants, extending to 50 nautical miles in southern quadrants from 0600 UTC 15 April with rough seas and moderate swell.
