GALE WARNING FOR NORTHERN AREA

SITUATION
At 0000 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 30 nautical miles of
 latitude twelve decimal two south (12.2S)
 longitude one hundred and thirty eight decimal five east (138.5E)
Recent movement : west at 9 knots
Maximum winds   : 30 knots
Central pressure: 1003 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 50 nautical miles of the centre in the southern quadrants.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 30 knots near the centre increasing to 35 knots by 0600 UTC 21
April.

Winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles of centre in southern quadrants
from 0600 UTC 21 April until 1800 UTC 21 April with very rough seas and
moderate swell.

Forecast positions
At 1200 UTC 21 April: Within 50 nautical miles of 11.3 south 136.7 east
                        Central pressure 1001 hPa.
                        Winds to 35 knots near centre.
At 0000 UTC 22 April: Within 65 nautical miles of 10.6 south 135.2 east
