The heavier snowfall that prompted the advisory has tapered off, 

therefore the Winter Weather Advisory will expire at 11 AM PDT this 

morning. Lingering snow showers may bring additional amounts of a 

dusting up to an inch over the Sierra Nevada through this afternoon.
