AFTERNOON TO 11 AM PDT SUNDAY...



* WHAT...Moderate snow expected above 6000 feet. Total snow 

  accumulations of 3 to 8 inches, with up to 12 inches over highest 

  peaks. Winds gusting up to 35 mph.



* WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas 

  County/Lassen Park.



* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 11 AM PDT Sunday.



* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous 

  conditions could impact the Friday evening commute and weekend 

  travel.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels around 6000 feet today, falling 

  to 5000-5500 feet Saturday. Light snowfall accumulations possible 

  down to around 5500 feet.
