At 1246 AM PST, road camera images along Interstate 5 indicated 
accumulating snow along portions of Interstate 5 in the Sacramento 
River Canyon from around Dunsmuir to Mott to Black Butte, although 
rain was falling at the same time in Mount Shasta City. 

Over the next 3 hours, through 345 AM PST expect rain and snow to 
continue in this area with the potential for wet, slushy snow to 
accumulate during periods of heavy precipitation along Highway 89 in 
the McCloud area and along Interstate 5 in the Dunsmuir area. Low 
visibility and slippery conditions should be expected.
