.NOW...

A wintery mix of rain and snow to continue across West Central
Nebraska this afternoon. Warm ground temperatures are largely
limiting accumulations, but where moderate snow is falling, slushy
accumulations of up to an inch are possible. A changeover to all
rain is possible later this afternoon, especially south of the
Sandhills where temperatures slowly warm into the mid to upper
30s. Visibility under the heaviest snow bands will briefly fall to
1 mile. The system will continue to slowly work to the east with
the rain and snow expected to impact north central Nebraska later
this afternoon.
