Rain will overspread the region late tonight and continue through
late Friday night with a wintry mix of rain, sleet, and wet snow
across the interior. Minor rises can be expected on some rivers by
Saturday morning.
A series of winter/spring flood outlooks are issued by the
National Weather Service through April, and are available on our
home page at weather.gov/nyc. These outlooks provide insight into
the likelihood of river flooding across the Hydrologic Service Area.

(12z to 12z) 8am to 8am edt(7am to 7am est) plus the
forecasted rainfall through 12z (8am edt or 7am est) the following
day. In addition, runoff due to snowmelt is included in the
forecast during the cold season. stage forecasts are provided
by the northeast and middle atlantic river forecast centers.
