...Rises Along the Lower Sacramento River System...

.Moderate to heavy precipitation is expected through early next 
week, resulting in rises along the Lower Sacramento River System. 
Fremont Weir is forecast to begin overflow this evening.

Forecasts are based on present and forecasted meteorological and 
hydrologic conditions at time of issuance.

Unlisted forecast points are expected to remain below monitor stage. 
All those affected by river conditions should remain alert for rapid 
changes and for possible forecast revisions.

 Fremont Weir 1/03 8:15 stage 30.2 ft
Forecast to begin overflow this evening then overflow depth at weir 
increasing to 0.4 FT late this evening then overflow to remain near 
depth of 1.8 FT into Monday morning.
 Monitor stage 32.0 ft, Flood stage 39.5
Impact for Fremont Weir...Near 33.1 feet, At one foot of overflow, 
the river road to Woodland is closed due to flooding.
Near 32.0 feet, Fremont Weir crest elevation. Overflow begins into 
the Yolo Bypass flooding agricultural lands.
