HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DENVER CO
105 PM MDT SAT MAY 30 2015

...Snowmelt runoff will be increasing over the next few days...

Warmer temperatures will combine with above average snowpack to
produce increased runoff in mountain streams from Sunday through the
early part of next week. The warmest days are likely to be Monday and
Tuesday...with high river flows continuing downstream through the
mountain valleys on Wednesday.

As the water moves onto the plains...it will flow into rivers such as
the Cache La Poudre...Big Thompson...St. Vrain...and South Platte that
are still high due to groundwater from the recent rains. This will
keep these rivers near bankfull with some potential for minor flooding
during the upcoming week. More significant flooding will not occur
unless there is substantial additional rainfall...which is not expected
through at least Wednesday.

Even though river levels will mainly be within their banks, the high flows
can still be dangerous. Those participating in activities near the
water are advised to use caution.
