Water levels can be expected to fall on the Mississippi River.

   

At 11 AM Sunday, the stage on the Mississippi River at Tiptonville 
was 34.9 feet and rising. Flood stage is 37.0 feet. Minor flooding is
forecast, with a maximum stage of 37.0 feet on Sunday April 07, which
is equal to the flood stage.At 36.0 feet, In Missouri, Most fields 
around Robinson Lake in Pemiscot County are covered by flood water..


At 11 AM Sunday, the stage on the Mississippi River at Memphis was 
31.2 feet and falling. Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

At 11 AM Sunday, the stage on the Mississippi River at Helena was 
42.8 feet and falling. Flood stage is 44.0 feet.At 43.0 feet, In 
Arkansas, road to landing east of downtown Helena, Arkansas begins to
flood. In Mississippi, places along the bank of southwest side of 
Desoto Lake are flooding. Facilities along the river north of Friars 
Point, Mississippi are flooding..  

The next River Statement will be issued tomorrow or sooner if conditions
warrant.
