National Weather Service San Juan PR
553 PM AST Wed May 31 2023

Mainly fair weather conditions under sunny to partly cloudy skies
prevailed across the U.S. Virgin Islands. The shower activity was
minimal across the islands. However, quick showers were observed
over St. Croix during the early morning hours. Warm conditions
persisted once again in the area, with heat indices that reached
the mid 100s degrees across the urban and coastal areas. Daytime
temperatures ranged from the upper 80s to the lower 90 degrees
along the islands. Winds were from the east to southeast at 10 to
15 mph, with higher gusts and sea breeze variations.

For tonight, fair weather conditions with mostly clear skies are
expected. Few showers are anticipated, mainly over the windward
portions of the islands, leaving minimal impacts. A similar
pattern is forecast for tomorrow with good weather, and warm
temperatures across the region. This is expected to continue
through the weekend. Overnight temperatures will range from the
mid to upper 70s at the coastal areas. Winds will be light and
variable. High temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 80s
to the low 90s, with heat indices reaching the low to mid 100s.

Across the local waters, mariners can expect seas between 2 and 4
feet across the Atlantic Waters, and lower everywhere else. Winds
will blow from the east-southeast to southeast at 10 to 15 knots.
