A seasonably cool day across the state today with temperatures
running slightly below normal. Afternoon highs reached into the 
middle to upper 50s across northern portions of the state with 
those in southern Kansas seeing lower 70s. A few light showers 
peppered the region with rainfall totals generally remaining under
0.10 inch. A few in northeastern Kansas saw slightly heavier 
showers with totals between 0.25 to 0.50 inch.

For tonight, below normal temperatures are expected with overnight
lows falling into the middle 30s across northwestern Kansas with
middle 40s expected in southeastern Kansas. These temperatures
will be between 5-10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
Skies will clear overnight with minimal cloud cover expected by
Saturday morning.

For Saturday, a beautiful day is expected with mostly clear skies
and temperatures warming into the upper 60s to middle 70s across
the state. The warmest temperatures will be seen across western
Kansas where winds will shift out of the south. Winds will remain
relatively light across the state during the day, generally
between 5-10 mph.
