Strong northwest winds will gust up to 50 MPH across much of the Outlook Area today. A Wind Advisory is in effect through this evening for these areas. More snow will move down from the north this morning and affect areas across northern Illinois, before it turns to rain by midday. Some light snow accumulations up to a half inch may occur along and east of a line from Freeport, to Princeton Illinois.
