There is a low risk of severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and tonight across portions of Southeast New Mexico and Far West Texas. The main concerns with the strongest thunderstorms will be torrential rainfall, frequent lightning, damaging winds, and large hail. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Eddy, Lea, Andrews, and Gaines counties beginning tonight. Excessive rainfall from multiple rounds of slow moving thunderstorms will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
