...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the 
  following county, Charleston.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It 
  will take several hours for all the water from these storms to 
  work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1130 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms
    with torrential rainfall impacting much of lower Charleston
    County. Although the region of heaviest rainfall has shifted
    east of the warning area, conditions remain favorable for
    additional showers and thunderstorms to develop over portions
    of Meggett, Yonges Island and Johns Island through early this
    afternoon. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain fell earlier today
    with as much as an inch occurring late this morning. An
    additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 130 PM as more
    thunderstorms develop. The risk for flooding continues.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Johns Island, Hollywood, Meggett and Yonges Island.
