The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
  Central Beaver County in western Pennsylvania...

* Until 1100 PM EDT.

* At 902 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain 
  has fallen with an additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing 
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Ross Township, McCandless Township, Franklin Park, Aliquippa, 
  Monaca, Economy, Ambridge, Wexford, New Brighton, Beaver, Baden, 
  Sewickley, Rochester, Ohioville, Harmony Township, Midland, 
  Industry, Leetsdale, Shippingport and Conway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
