...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM MDT THIS MORNING THROUGH 
THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 
  possible.

* WHERE...Areas on and downstream of the Ruidoso area burn scars and 
  the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon burn scar.

* WHEN...From 11 AM MDT this morning through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water 
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Storms will develop over the burn scars in the late morning
    and move slowly to the southeast through the afternoon.
    Rainfall rates of 0.5 to 0.75 inch per hour are possible with
    stronger storms.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued. Stay away from River Banks as 
they may be unstable!
