The following message is transmitted at the request of Sangamon
County Office of Emergency Management.

There have been reports of multiple cell phone carriers that are
experiencing nationwide outages this morning. 

The Sangamon County 911 Dispatch Center is open and operational. 

Phones that are displaying SOS only should still be able to reach
911 via their cellular device. Please do not call 911 to just to
test it out.  

If you have an emergency but cannot call 911... try a landline
phone or connect to WiFi.
