...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CHASE COUNTY
THROUGH 1145 PM MDT...

At 1115 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southeast of Lamar, or 14 miles west of Imperial, moving south
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Imperial, Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area, Champion, Crete,
Chase, Center Dam Campground, Wanamaker State Wildfire Management
Area, Area A Campground, and Church Grove Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
