...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT FOR
CHARLEVOIX COUNTY...

At 1230 PM EDT, flash flooding continues across parts of Charlevoix
County, with road washouts on the west side of Lake Charlevoix. Rain
will be ending over the next 1-2 hours but many rivers, creeks and
streams across the warned area may continue to rise due to previous
heavy rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
