  Northwestern Ascension Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Southwestern East Baton Rouge Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Northeastern Iberville Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  East Central West Baton Rouge Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 356 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Baton Rouge, Port Allen, Oak Hills Place, Westminster, Inniswold, 
  Village St. George, Gardere, Merrydale, Shenandoah, Old Jefferson, 
  Brownfields, Prairieville and Baton Rouge Airport.

This includes the following Interstates...
	Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 155 and 173.
	Interstate 12 between mile markers 1 and 5.
	Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 8.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.
