The National Weather Service in St Louis has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Saint Charles County in east central Missouri...
  Warren County in east central Missouri...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible 
  in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  O'Fallon, St. Peters, Chesterfield, Wildwood, Wentzville, Lake St. 
  Louis, Dardenne Prairie, Warrenton, Weldon Spring, Wright City, 
  Cottleville, St. Paul, Marthasville, Truesdale, Innsbrook, New 
  Melle, Josephville, Augusta, Weldon Spring Heights and Dutzow.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 193 and 224.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
