The National Weather Service in Binghamton has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Delaware County in central New York...

* Until 1015 PM EDT.

* At 754 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated another round of heavy rain 
  pushing into the warned area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding has been reported on County Road 22 
  just north of Walton and more flooding is now likely to occur with 
  this next round of heavy rainfall.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Walton, Colchester, Hancock, Harvard, Fishs Eddy, Hamden, 
  Beerston, Bear Spring Mountain Campground and Rock Rift.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
