The National Weather Service in Morristown has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Morgan County in east Tennessee...
  Scott County in east Tennessee...

* Until 1100 AM EST.

* At 729 AM EST, local law enforcement reported flash flooding. 
  Numerous roads are closed in parts of the county. Flooding is 
  already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Oneida, Huntsville, Helenwood, Winfield, Sunbright, Robbins, 
  Elgin, Slick Rock, Honey Creek State Park, Rugby State Park, 
  Rugby, Norma, Big South Fork National Park, Frozen Head State 
  Park, Smokey Junction, Deerlodge, High Point and Ketchen.

Locations near Deerlodge, Sunbright, and Slick Rock have seen the 
heaviest rainfall so far and will be the most likely area to have 
flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
