...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Missouri, 
  including the following counties, in south central Missouri, Dent 
  and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Greene, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 814 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Marshfield, Houston, Licking, Hartville, Niangua,
    Raymondville, Diggins, Dawson, Duncan, Huggins, Manes, Graff,
    Bendavis, Grovespring, Odin, Success, Bucyrus, Prescott,
    Yukon, Northview, Hartshorn and Ozark National Scenic
    Riverways.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
