...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Missouri, including 
  the following counties, in central Missouri, Cooper, Howard and 
  Saline. In north central Missouri, Chariton, Macon and Randolph.

* WHEN...Until 930 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1119 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in
    the warned area.  Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Moberly, Boonville, Macon, Fayette, Salisbury, Huntsville,
    Glasgow, New Franklin, Pilot Grove, Bevier, Higbee, Atlanta,
    Bunceton, Clark, Cairo, Callao, Armstrong, Prairie Home,
    Renick and Jacksonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
