...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in 
Mississippi...Louisiana...Arkansas...

  Mississippi River At Vicksburg affecting Warren, Jefferson, 
  Claiborne, Tensas and Madison Counties.

  Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Concordia and 
  Adams Counties.

  Mississippi River Near Greenville affecting Issaquena, Washington,
   East Carroll and Chicot Counties.

  Mississippi River Near Arkansas City affecting Washington, 
  Bolivar, Chicot and Desha Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 830 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FRIDAY, MAY 09...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is 
  forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez.

* WHEN...Until Friday, May 09.

* IMPACTS...At 55.0 feet, Pond Road in Fort Adams is flooded. 
  Numerous homes are under water in the township.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 55.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a slow fall.
  - Flood stage is 48 feet.
