Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 936 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbia, Lexington, West Columbia, Cayce, Irmo, Forest Acres, Camden, Springdale, Lake Wateree Dam, Dentsville, McEntire Air Base, St. Andrews, Oak Grove, Red Bank, Pageland, South Congaree, Pine Ridge, Kershaw, Elgin and Arcadia Lakes. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 126 between mile markers 0 and 3. Interstate 26 between mile markers 104 and 124. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 59 and 110.
