...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM CDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following 
  counties, Clay, Cumberland, De Kalb, Fentress, Jackson, Overton, 
  Pickett, Putnam, Smith and White.

* WHEN...Until 1245 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 955 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of
    thunderstorms producing heavy rain will move through the
    advisory area. Rainfall from these storms will cause brief
    minor flooding in the advisory area, especially on low-lying
    and poor draining areas, smaller creeks and streams, and
    urban areas.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cookeville, Sparta, Livingston, Jamestown, Celina,
    Gainesboro, Byrdstown, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Allardt,
    Rickman, Standing Stone State Park, Crawford, Cummins Falls
    State Park, Dale Hollow Lake, Hamptons Crossroads,
    Clarkrange, Whitleyville and Grimsley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
