...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Texas, including the 
  following counties, in central Texas, Henderson. In north central 
  Texas, Kaufman, Navarro and Van Zandt.

* WHEN...Until 815 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
    forecast.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Corsicana, Athens, Kaufman, Gun Barrel City, Canton, Mabank,
    Malakoff, Tool, Kerens, Seven Points, Kemp, Eustace,
    Trinidad, Grays Prairie, Enchanted Oaks, Caney City,
    Cottonwood, Purtis Creek State Park, Cedar Creek Reservoir
    and Forest Grove Reservoir.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
