...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Virginia, including the following 
  county, Tazewell and southeast West Virginia, including the 
  following counties, Mercer and Summers.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Several structures are flooded and some sand bagging 
  operations are continuing. Numerous roads remain closed due to 
  flooding, with water rescues still ongoing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1159 AM EST, Gauge reports indicated flooding of streams
    and rivers, especially the Bluestone downstream of Falls
    Mills.
  - Some locations that have been impacted by flooding include...
    Bluefield, Princeton, Richlands, Tazewell, Hinton and Cedar
    Bluff.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away or be swept away. Rivers remain extremely swollen, with 
rapid flows resulting in unstable river banks.

When it is safe to do so, please send your reports of flooding, 
including mudslides or flooded roads, to the National Weather
