...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM 
MST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills around 10 degrees expected.

* WHERE...Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet, Sierra County Lakes, 
  Central Grant County/Silver City Area, Eastern Black Range 
  Foothills, Southern Gila Foothills/Mimbres Valley, and Upper Gila 
  River Valley.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 10 AM MST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Cold wind chills around 10 degrees could result in 
  hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and 
  hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these 
  temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a 
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and 
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure 
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills 
inside.
