...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL MASSAC AND CENTRAL MCCRACKEN COUNTIES...

At 1058 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Metropolis to near Brookport to near Lone Oak,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Paducah, West Paducah, Lone Oak, Metropolis, and Brookport.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 1 and 12.
 Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 34 and 38.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for southern
Illinois...and western Kentucky.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
