...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN CALLOWAY...SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL AND SOUTHWESTERN
TRIGG COUNTIES...

At 337 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest of
Turkey Bay, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Linton, Aurora, Turkey Bay, Golden Pond Visitors Center, Wranglers
Campground, and Land Between The Lakes Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for western
Kentucky.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
