...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM CDT 
FOR COLE AND MONITEAU COUNTIES...

At 438 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 
12 miles northwest of Tipton to 37 miles southwest of Hickory Hill, 
or along a line from 12 miles northwest of Tipton to 50 miles south 
of California, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Latham, 
Enon, Eugene, Kliever, Lohman, Sandy Hook, Lupus, Marion, Elston and 
Osage Bend.

This includes the following State Parks...
Clarks Hill/Norton Historic Site and Jefferson Landing Historic Site.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from 
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek 
shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a 
well-built structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for a portion of 
central Missouri.
