...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
THROUGH 315 PM PDT...

At 240 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Waterloo, or 7 miles east of Stockton, moving east
at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Waterloo, Country Club, Garden Acres, Taft Mosswood, Kennedy, August,
Linden, Morada, Farmington, Lincoln Village, Stockton, French Camp,
and Lockeford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
