...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL FRESNO COUNTY THROUGH
200 PM PDT...

At 124 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles north of Orange Cove, or 20 miles east of Clovis, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Balch Power House, Fence Meadow, Basin Fire Burn Scar, and Trimmer 
Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
