...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL TULARE COUNTY
THROUGH 345 PM PDT...

At 319 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Three Rivers, or 31 miles northeast of Porterville, moving east at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bearpaw Ranger Station, Atwell Mill Campground, Potwisha Campground,
Cold Springs Campground, Wolverton Point, Case Mountain, Ash Mountain
Sequoia Park HQ, Buckeye Flat Campground, Pear Lake Ranger Station,
Farewell Gap, Marble Fork Kaweah, Little Five Lakes Ranger Station,
Mineral King Ranger Station, Giant Forest, Redwood Meadow Patrol
Cabin, and Three Rivers.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
