...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL KERN COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM PDT...

At 404 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southeast of Mettler, or 31 miles south of Bakersfield, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lebec, Frazier Park, Grapevine, and Interstate 5 over the Grapevine.
