...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SANTA CRUZ...
SOUTHEASTERN SAN MATEO AND WEST CENTRAL SANTA CLARA COUNTIES UNTIL 
530 PM PDT...

At 514 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 
miles southwest of Woodside, or 11 miles southwest of Palo Alto, 
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  Palo Alto, Woodside and Portola Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening 
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio 
stations and available television stations for additional 
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Storms will be capable of producing large quantities of accumulating
