...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL SANTA CLARA AND 
SOUTHEASTERN ALAMEDA COUNTIES UNTIL 1245 PM PDT...

At 1222 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 
near East Foothills, or 6 miles east of Milpitas, moving east at 25 
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
  San Jose, Fremont, Milpitas, East Foothills, Alum Rock and Sunol.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening 
weather conditions.

Storms will be capable of producing large quantities of accumulating 
hail. This may result in slick and hazardous driving conditions. 
Slow down and use caution if driving.
