...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MESA COUNTY THROUGH 100
PM MDT...

At 1232 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Palisade, or 18 miles southeast of Grand Junction,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Mesa
County.

This includes U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 45 and
50.
