...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CONCORDIA AND CATAHOULA PARISHES
THROUGH 315 AM CDT...

At 227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Walters, or 15 miles west of Jonesville, moving
southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Walters and Archie around 230 AM CDT.
  Mayna around 235 AM CDT.
  Larto and New Era around 240 AM CDT.
  Monterey around 245 AM CDT.
  Deer Park around 300 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
