EVANGELINE...EAST CENTRAL BEAUREGARD...AVOYELLES...NORTHWESTERN ST.
LANDRY AND NORTHEASTERN ALLEN PARISHES THROUGH 400 AM CDT...

At 257 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Larto to Mittie. Movement was
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor 
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chataignier, Cottonport, Cheneyville, Bayou Chicot, Goudeau, Lake
Ophelia National Wildlife Refuge, Moreauville, St. Landry, Glenmora,
Forest Hill, Whiteville, Dupont, Marksville, Union Hill, Elizabeth,
Mamou, Big Bend, Ville Platte, Centerpoint, and Mittie.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 33 and 75.
